Broken WRENCH brewery
Above is a picture of my home brewing system. It is an all electric HERMS (Heat Exchange Recirculating Mash System). The basic overview of my system is as follows.
A three tank system consisting of converted half barrels.
Three heating elements (two in the boil tank and one in the sparge tank).
A digital temperature controller used for all three tanks.
A magnetic drive high temperature pump.
A copper coil in the sparge tank along with two solenoid valves to keep the mash at a specified temperature.
A counterflow wort chiller.
And a grain mill.
